Course Description
While the preparation and implementation of REDD+ at the national level through a national strategy or action plan were covered in the Introduction to REDD+ course, the Advancing on REDD+ course discusses the other three REDD+ elements in greater detail, adding the importance of involving the appropriate stakeholders in the process and the principles of good governance. It is structured in 6 modules, and each module takes about 2 hours to complete.
All modules include an introductory video lesson, an interactive lesson, and a learning journal in PDF format. The modules also include links to other UN resources on REDD+, providing access to more in-depth and specific information.
Completion Certificate and Assessment
There is a test at the end of each module. After completing each test with more than 70% approval, you will receive a badge associated with each module. Once all 6 tests are completed, you will receive a completion certificate from UN-REDD and UNITAR.
