The Introduction to REDD+ covers the fundamentals of REDD+, from the elements required under the UNFCCC to how to prepare and implement REDD+ at the national level, including the available financial resources. It is structured in 6 modules, and each module takes about 2 hours to complete.
All modules include an introductory video lesson, an interactive lesson, and a learning journal in PDF format. The modules also include links to other UN resources on REDD+, providing access to more in-depth and specific information.
Completion Requirements
There is a questionnaire at the end of each module. After completing each questionnaire with more than 70% approval, you will receive a badge associated with each module. Once all 6 questionnaires are completed with a minimum score of 70%, you will receive a completion certificate from UN-REDD and UNITAR.
