This course explores key aspects of compiling and maintaining emission inventories to support the development of environmental policy, establish reporting standards, and assess pollutant emission levels.
The course consists of three modules that provide an understanding of how emission monitoring systems are organized, and how to prepare and submit reports in line with the requirements of the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (CLRTAP).
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Explain what an air pollution emission inventory is.
- Identify types of air pollutants resulting from human activities.
- Understand the role of emission inventory systems in shaping environmental legislation.
- Recognize the structure and purpose of normative documents related to reporting.
- Accurately complete emission reporting forms.
- Apply internationally recommended methods for measuring emission volumes.

Enrollment is required to access the course.
Certificate:
A certificate of completion is awarded to participants who achieve a score of 70% or higher in the final assessment and submit a course review.
