Openness and Transparency of the Government and SAIs

The Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation created a course on the openness of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) and the Government as a whole. The course serves as continuation of the work on the Development Strategy of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation for 2018-2024 implementation.

Since 2019 the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation together with leading experts has been publishing an analytical report “The Openness of the Government in Russia”, which evaluates the work of Russian federal executive bodies.

The course covers the following aspects:

• Why transparency is of such an importance for the Government and SAIs?
• How to audit Governance transparency and openness?
• Who are SAIs’ target audience and how to work with them?
