SAI China Presented a Film about UN Audit Duties during the Pandemic

From January 2023, Mr. Hou Kai, Auditor General of SAI China, is the Chairman of the UN External Audit Panel.

In June 2022,  SAI China launched an initiative to create a short film about the work of the UN auditors during the pandemic.

SAI China started the project in 2022. The film contains scenes of real life and the work of UN auditors in a global epidemic. The footage shows the auditors getting ready, flying to the audit site, entry point to the audit, conducting the audit, working overtime, and returning home. The team of SAI China independently selected the material and edited the video sequence.

After the completion of the project, the UN auditors involved in the filming listened to their suggestions for improving the film. As a result, it turned out 9-minute film that was officially posted on the website of the SAI of China in Chinese.

The film describes all the features, hardships and joys of UN audit work in an epidemic.

The SAI China team plans to continue covering audit issues in China and releasing new films.
