AFROSAI-E held HR seminar
AFROSAI-E successfully conducted a regional seminar on HR policy in a hybrid format. The event took place from 8 to 12 November 2021, which was attended by 23 participants from 11 SAIs in person and more than 40 professionals joined the event online.
The workshop was led by the SAI Kenya in Mombasa. The speakers included representatives from the AFROSAI-E Secretariat, the INTOSAI Development Initiative, as well as HR personnel and SAI leaders from across the region.
The well-being of the workforce was high on the agenda. During the seminar, participants share their experiences and ideas on how to effectively improve the welfare of staff. The work of the SAI’s human resources divisions has been praised for its key role in helping employees fight the COVID-19 pandemic and developing solutions to ensure SAI business continuity.
