Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation and Supreme Audit Institutions Discussed Aspects of Interaction with Citizens

On January 25, 2021, a webinar “Engaging Civil Society in Audits: Collaboration for Greater Impact” was held at the site of the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation.
The participants discussed the advantages and difficulties of cooperation between the SAIs and civil society, the roles that civil society organizations can play in the framework of the audit and successful models and methods of interaction.
The speakers were K. Schouten (Senior Program Officer, International Budget Partnership), J. Calder (Executive Director of Jamaica Accountability Meter Portal), A.L. Ndago (Deputy Chairman of the Ghana SAI).
