Learning for the Future. Global Engagement, Sustainability and Digital Skills

A new OECD report “Learning for the Future. Global Connectivity, Sustainability and Digital Skills” describes the challenges and major trends in teaching, and suggests ways to improve educational standards to ensure that learning meets the needs of all students, regardless of background.

This document was used as a basis for starting discussions at the International Summit of the Teaching Profession, held in Washington, DC, in April 2023. The summit’s topics included issues such as the future of learning and ways to radically rethink the functioning of education systems in the coming decades.

The report describes mechanisms for attracting and supporting highly qualified teachers in the digital age, as well as ways to promote a fair and inclusive learning environment for all.
