New Mentoring Program of SAIs Australia and Papua New Guinea

In February, the SAI of Australia together with the SAI of Papua New Guinea, launched a new mentoring program based on the experience of the SAI of Tonga.
The program includes individual sessions followed by monthly group meetings to exchange ideas. Among the participants of the program from the SAI of Papua New Guinea will be one man and three women, and from the SAI of Australia two men and two women.
This gender balance is expected to enable participants to discuss the barriers to gender equality. The purpose of cooperation is a positive exchange of experience at a minimal cost.
