OLACEFS Established a New Task Force to Develop Virtual Courses

The Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions of Latin America and the Caribbean (OLACEFS) established a new Task Force to develop virtual courses.

The group is chaired by the SAI Mexico with SAI Bolivia as vice. The group aims to support the development of OLACEFS virtual courses.

In March 2023, the SAIs of Mexico and Bolivia held a webinar where they presented the updated plan for the development and maintenance of new online courses. The webinar was attended by 361 representatives of the supreme audit institutions of the OLACEFS region.

During the meeting, representatives of the SAIs of Mexico and Bolivia provided information on progress: the most vulnerable areas that could affect the success of the project were identified, these include limitations such as language differences or differences in technological resources.

The plan presented by the group took into account the identified problems and was drawn up with an emphasis on maximizing the involvement and integration of educational processes in the region.
