PASAI and UNDP Provided Financial Management Training

Pacific Association of Supreme Audit Institutions (PASAI) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) provided online training for staff of SAIs  FSM Pohnpei and Yap, Micronesia, Samoa and the Solomon Islands and  Vanuatu.

As part of the training, employees completed a training course for auditors in the Public Finance Management (PFM) program. The students learned the basic principles of interaction of the supreme audit institutions with the main financial structures and institutions.

During the course, employees and junior managers learned the basic principles of public finance management, while more experienced employees were able to gain knowledge of the budget cycle.
