Recruiting and retaining staff. INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee webinar

SAIs must constantly evolve to meet changing audit models, new regulatory requirements and technology innovations. To help SAIs cope with these new challenges, recruiting and retaining staff strategies must evolve as well.

Are there any qualified financial accountants available externally? How to recruit and retain qualified financial staff? What challenges are likely to emerge?

In response to these crucial questions INTOSAI Capacity Building Committee (CBC) held a webinar on recruiting and retaining staff.

During the meeting on March 16, 2021 the participants were presented with interactive thematic infographics containing cases on the most common problematic situations and standard solutions on personnel issues. Working materials were prepared by the CBC Working Group on Audit in Difficult Situations based on the practical experience of several SAIs.
