SAI Algeria Presents Preliminary Results of Perinatal Health Program Audit

SAI Algeria held a virtual seminar to present the preliminary findings and recommendations of its audit of the National Perinatal Health Program, conducted in the context of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 — Good Health and Well-Being.

The event brought together government officials, public health experts, and international partners.

The audit assessed the effectiveness of national measures to improve maternal and newborn health services, the accessibility of care, and the quality of data management.
Based on the analysis, SAI Algeria issued a series of recommendations to enhance transparency, coordination, and efficiency in managing health programs.

Participants also discussed the use of digital systems to improve monitoring and accountability in public health services and other social initiatives.
