SAI Angola Held an Open Day for Students

SAI Angola hosted students of the Faculty of Economics of Agostinho Neto University.

The students were informed on the organization’s activities within the Constitution and the regulatory acts, as well as on the best practices in applying international standards.

Students focused on the SAIS’ organizational structure, mandate and functions, as well as audit mechanisms.

The audience was particularly interested in the allocation of budget funds at various stages and ways to conduct preventive, parallel and sequential audit. In addition, students learned that due to audit work in embassies and consulates, the audit of public funds goes beyond the borders of the country.

During the meeting, SAI staff and university students discussed new digital technologies and the need to improve the digital competencies of employees for more efficient operation of the organization.
