SAI Armenia Visits USA

Within the framework of a joint program between  SAI Armenia, SAI USA and the US Agency for International Development (USAID), a delegation of SAI Armenia visited the United States of America.

The parties noted the progress made in the results of the trilateral cooperation, which are recorded in the strategic directions of the reforms of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

The Armenian SAI has launched an initiative to continue cooperation in the field of professional and technical support in the new strategic cycle of improving the SAI’s activities.

During the meeting, systemic issues related to the sphere of external state accounting in both countries were discussed, as well as, in general, current tasks and prospects facing higher-level accounting bodies.

During the visit, the Audit Chamber delegation held meetings with representatives of the Internal security and Public Affairs apparatus of the upper house of the US Congress (Senate), as well as the control and reporting committees.
