SAI Bhutan Conducted Training on Environmental Protection

SAI Bhutan was trained in a specialized environmental and climate change audit training course held at the Bangkok School of Management.
The training of the Department’s staff is funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and is aimed at strengthening the Inspector’s capacity to assess environmental policies and climate resilience strategies.
This training will enable SAI staff to integrate climate and sustainable development issues into their work. This, in turn, will ensure better auditing of climate finance issues and oversight of Bhutan’s environmental programs, contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals for environmental protection.
