SAI Bolivia Discusses Auditing Standards with Internal Audit Representatives

In November 2021, Bolivia held a seminar “Standards for auditing the reliability of registers and financial reporting of organizations” (“Normas de Auditoría de Confiabilidad de los Registros y Estados Financieros”) for the heads of internal audit units of the administrations of autonomous municipalities.
The Chairman of the SAI, G.A. Peres, took part in the seminar and noted the importance of compliance audit as a key tool for monitoring compliance with the implementation of the goals of municipal authorities, as well as a forecasting tool and a reliable source of financial information for decision-making.
