SAI Brazil launched the Citizen Participation Reference aimed at fostering citizen engagement in auditing process.

A two-year program (2025 – 2026) on citizen participation in audit is designed to empower citizens to actively contribute to the audit process, acting as a bridge between society and the government.

The citizen participation is also important for combating corruption and the misuse of the public resources.
