SAI Cabo Verde Welcomed Parliamentary Delegation from Sao Tome and Principe
SAI Cabo Verde received a parliamentary delegation of Sao Tome and Principe for an official visit.
The visit took place within the framework of institutional cooperation among Portuguese-speaking countries. The delegation, headed by Mr. Danilo Santos, Member of Parliament of Sao Tome and Principe, was welcomed by Mr. João da Cruz Silva, President of SAI Cabo Verde.
Discussions focused on the organization of external public audit systems, the role of supreme audit institutions in promoting transparency and accountability, and potential areas of collaboration in professional training and capacity building.
The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences on the digitalization of audit processes and the implementation of strategic development plans. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening inter-parliamentary and institutional cooperation within the INTOSAI community.
