SAI France Held a Meeting with the Heads of European SAIs within the Framework of the International Conference “The Future of Europe”
SAI France held a two-day international conference for heads of supreme audit institutions of Europe. The event was held within the framework of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
On the first working day of the Conference, a meeting was held between SAIs of EU countries. During the meeting, the participants discussed issues related to assessing the effectiveness of government measures to counteract the health crisis.
The next day, the heads of SAIs took part in a civil forum to exchange views between representatives of government and commercial structures, civil and academic society. They discussed the reforms of the European financial system, the transition to a “green” economy, and the main social and political trends in the region.
