SAI Guinea-Bissau Launched Transparent Public Administration Project

SAI Guinea-Bissau presented to its staff the project “Transparent and Responsible Economic Governance”, funded by the European Union under the program for 2021-2027. The project, which will last four years, aims to increase transparency and financial accountability, and will be implemented by the French state agency EXPERTISE FRANCE.

The SAI has identified key needs and priority actions that will be supported by the project:

• Preparation of conclusions on public accounts for 2017-2021
• Conduct audits of results and effectiveness consistent with the Sustainable Development Goals
• Training and professional development of SAI employees
• Development of guidelines for public policy assessment and risk analysis
• SAI Digitalization.
