SAI Indonesia Participated in the International Student Development Conference

In November, SAI Indonesian spoke at the International Student Development Conference.

Mr. Agus Joko Pramono, Vice-Chairman of the SAI Indonesia, was made an honorary speaker of the event and spoke to students about budget expertise, public finance management and the SAI’s activities in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

During this event, students learned about the international detail of SAIS, including membership in INTOSAI, ASOSAI (Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions), as well as the role of the UN External auditor.

Participants were particularly interested in the initiative of the SAIS of Indonesia to establish the SAI20 group (within the framework of Indonesia’s G20 presidency). Mr. Pramono said that the goal of the initiative is to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and support the achievement of the SDGs.
