SAI Peru Held an International Seminar on Internal Control and Artificial Intelligence
Heads and employees of SAIs Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Guatemala, and Peru) participated in the international seminar “Developments in Internal Control and the Use of Artificial Intelligence”, which was held under the auspices of Organization of Latin American and Caribbean Supreme Audit Institutions (OLACEFS).
The Seminar was attended by more than 500 participants, including representatives of SAIs, as well as civil servants of municipal control authorities in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The aim of the event is to disseminate best practices and best practices of OLACEFS SAIs.
SAIs of Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Guatemala and Peru presented their achievements in the field of internal control and artificial intelligence. The seminar discussed the importance of internal control, which prevents various risks and contributes to the implementation of the goals and objectives of institutional policy. In addition, it was emphasized that internal control contributes to effective and transparent management in state organizations. Representatives of the SAIs also spoke about the use of artificial intelligence for the formation of databases, which become a valuable management tool in the era of information and communication technologies.
