SAIs of Bulgaria and Romania Cooperate in the Field of IT Audit

SAIs of Bulgaria and Romania held an online meeting during which a cooperation agreement was signed.

The SAI of Romania agreed to help Bulgarian colleagues in the gradual introduction of IT audit into the work of the SAI by implementing a set of measures. Expert support will be provided for the preparation of the IT Audit Guide, staff training and consultations during the pilot IT audit by the Bulgarian SAI.

Interaction between the two countries will be carried out through the exchange of information and materials, online consultations between experts, bilateral visits of experts from both countries, etc.
