SAIs of Vietnam and Italy Met in Rome

A delegation of SAI Vietnam Military Academy paid a working visit to Rome on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Italy.

An official meeting of the heads of the SAIs of both departments was held at the office of SAI Italy. The parties exchanged information on organizational structures, tasks and recent achievements.

At the meeting, Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan highly appreciated the activities of the SAI Italy and expressed a desire to develop bilateral cooperation between the two agencies in the near future by exchanging audit documents and standards and organizing bilateral training events, exchanging information on the subject of internal audit. 

SAI Vietnam noted the priority areas for cooperation and exchange of experience between agencies, including environmental audit, analysis of public policies and programs, information technology and digitalization.
