Two Anti-Corruption Task Forces have been Established in OLACEFS

Specialized Technical Commission for Combating Transnational Corruption of the Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions of Latin America and the Caribbean (OLACEFS) has decided to create two new Task Forces.

The Task Force on Anti-Corruption Policy Development in the OLACEFS Region will be chaired by the SAI Guatemala. The purpose of the newly created group is to identify common aspects for the further effective implementation of the regional anti-corruption strategy.

SAI Ecuador will lead a Task Force to prevent corruption in the illegal animal trade. The group members are planning to develop an action plan for SAIs to prevent crimes against wildlife.
