U-INTOSAI promotion and the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference under the auspices of the INTOSAI Chair in March 2022 were approved at the 75th INTOSAI Governing Board meeting
For for 8 months already the U-INTOSAI has been successfully promoting the open exchange of knowledge and experience within INTOSAI and helping to develop professional competencies of auditors in a convenient online format.
We are particularly proud to announce that the 75th INTOSAI Governing Board meeting acknowledged the development of the Digital University for the INTOSAI Community Project as an initiative of the INTOSAI Chair aimed at creating a platform collecting information on educational initiatives related to public auditing.
More than 400 people have already registered on the platform since its creation, more than 1,500 users visit it weekly. The platform has been visited by representatives of 180 countries.
The site has been translated into 7 languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian and French. At the moment, 54 courses have been uploaded to the resource, including 16 in English, 5 in Spanish, 17 in Portuguese and 16 in Russian.
Thus, the U-INTOSAI functions as a platform that unites and promotes all existing educational activities of the INTOSAI community. Our goal is to contribute to the development of competencies and the promotion of INTOSAI educational initiatives, to form a multilingual environment for professional communication in accordance with the principles of openness and inclusivity.
In addition, we are happy to inform you that the initiative of the INTOSAI Chair to hold the second International Scientific and Practical Conference in March 2022 with a focus on online education, green economy and other topics relevant to the audit community was supported at the 75th INTOSAI Governing Board meeting.
