XXV INCOSAI: INTOSAI Knowledge Sharing Committee’s Meeting
The INTOSAI Knowledge Sharing Committee had a meeting at the XXV INCOSAI.
The Committee chair (SAI India) noted the progress the working groups made in preparing professional pronouncements.
In 2022–2025 INTOSAI working groups drafted 20 documents that form the basis for the future development of INTOSAI’s professional practices.
SAI Russia led the development of:
- Guidance on fiscal risks audit (for the Working Group on Public Debt (WGPD),
- Practical Guidance on SDG audit at the regional level, Guidelines on ESG audit (for the Working Group on SDGs and Key Sustainable Development Indicators (WGSDG KSDI) chaired by SAI Russia).
Mr. Dmitry Zaitsev, Member of the Board, SAI Russia, spoke about the development of the Digital University for the INTOSAI community (U-INTOSAI). The education platform developed by SAI Russia and launched in April 2021 as one of the key projects of Russia’s Presidency of the INTOSAI in 2019–2022 is available to the entire global auditing community. Its main objective is to assist the development of professional competences in public audit.
Along with online courses, the portal publishes news, podcasts, an updated resources list and the INTOSAI event calendar. The creation of U-INTOSAI training courses is envisioned in the documents of four INTOSAI working groups and three ASOSAI working groups.
The updated documents reaffirm U-INTOSAI as a priority education resource for organizations.
