AFROSAI-E Announced the Winners in the “Best Performance Audit Report” Nomination
In May 2022 the African Organization of English-speaking Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI-E) held its 18th Governing Board meeting.
The event was held in the Gambia and brought together more than 100 delegates of the African supreme audit institutions. During the meetings, the role of SAIs in promoting effective financial management, sustainability and independence of audit organizations were discussed.
Also the Governing Board announced the winners for “Best Performance Audit Report” for the period 2019-2021.
Thus, the winner of 2021 became SAI Ghana for the audit report on Provision of flood control drains sheds light on flooding in Ghana.
Award based on the results of 2020 was gained by the team of SAI Gambia for the report on Emergency Obstetric Care in Public Facilities in the Gambia.
SAI Tanzania received the 2019 Award for the Report on Preparedness for Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals.
