PASAI Participated in the Pacific Islands Forum

The representative of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions of the Pacific Region (PASAI), Ms. Elizabeth Lameko Patoa, spoke at the Pacific Islands Forum on Public Finance Management.
She delivered a speech about the role of the SAI during crisis situations, the importance of the legal, financial and organizational independence of the supreme audit institutions and the need to interact with stakeholders and civil society.
The Pacific Islands Forum is the leading political and economic organization in the region, whose main goal is to deepen cooperation between independent Pacific States and represent their interests.
