Regional Meeting of SAIs Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia

The Third regional meeting of the SAIs of Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia with the support of UN Women was held in Tirana (Albania).

The meeting participants discussed the advantages of using a single methodology for conducting gender equality audits.

The parties reviewed the preliminary results of the study, which will later become the basis for conducting a joint audit on the topic: “Gender equality and women’s empowerment in rural areas and in the labor market”.

The audit teams of participating SAIs discussed the main approaches and mechanisms for conducting future audit activities.
