SAI Argentina Held a Webinar on SDGs Audit
SAI Argentina held webinar “Presentation of the SDG Audit Model (IDI ISAM Model): Guidelines for Auditing the SDGs from the INTOSAI Development Initiative”.
SAI of Argentina as Head of the Executive Secretariat of the Supreme Audit Institutions of South America (EFSUR) invited to the event representatives from 15 SAIs that plan to conduct cooperative audits in the future (Argentina, Bogota, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico and Venezuela,).
The main attention was paid to the preparation of a cooperative audit on Policies implemented to achieve the goals of the Sustainable Development Goal and mitigate the effects of Covid-19 with an emphasis on reducing the gender gap.
The presentation of the SDG Audit Model was held by the specialists of the INTOSAI Development Initiative, together with the Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions of Latin America and Caribbean (OLACEFS).
The IDI SDG Audit Model (ISAM) is a practical pilot guide for SAIs to conduct high-quality SDG audits based on the International INTOSAI Standards (ISSAI). The model is based on five principles: focus on results, recognition of the individuality of SAIs, INTOSAI standards, inclusiveness and self-assessment.
