SAI Belarus Strengthens Capacity with the Russian Control Authorities

SAI Belarus met employees of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service of the Russian Federation in March. Both institutions discussed the problems of withdrawal and movement of financial flows into illicit traffic, as well as issues of bilateral cooperation to unite efforts in the fight against such crimes.

There was productive collaboration between the participants on issues of ensuring effective interstate information interaction between the financial units of the two states. Also, there were discussion about the possibilities of the digital system being created by the International Center for risk assessment of legalization and laundering of illegally obtained income, as well as the financing of terrorism.

In addition, in March, SAI Russia met a delegation of SAI Belarus in order to exchange experience in the field of pricing and control in the construction sector.

During the visit, the parties discussed the issues of drafting and adjusting the estimates of contracts for investment and construction projects, considered the main functions of construction control in the implementation of national projects, as well as the specifics of monitoring unfinished construction projects.
