SAI Cuba Shares Experience with Regional Audit Organizations and Students

In February 2023, the SAI of Cuba held a series of meetings with representatives of the regional audit organizations. During the meetings, issues on compliance with measures to eliminate violations and shortcomings based on the results of inspections and increase the efficiency of work to strengthen the state control system were considered.

Also, the regional audit institutions of Cuba have done a great job in terms of increasing the openness of the organization and interacting with students. In February, the meeting was held with graduates and students of the auditing course of Villas Central University, during which the topic of audit control was discussed, as well as presentations by young graduates who shared their observations on audit work received during their internship in various organizations.

In addition, a youth meeting was held , the purpose of which was to introduce students to the profession of an auditor and discuss the criteria for future work, as well as meetings with students from Oriente and Elga Universities.
