SAI Gambia Hosted a Webinar on Financial Audit and Compliance Audit

In March 2023, SAI Gambia, in cooperation with the African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions of English-Speaking Countries (AFROSAI-E), held a two-week workshop on financial audit and compliance audit for representatives of regional audit organizations.

The workshop, which was attended by SAIs from Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, the Gambia and Uganda, was aimed at introducing revised African audit methodologies, making recommendations for aligning methodologies with SAIs ‘ authority, exploring quality control tools and providing practical assistance.
