SAI Israel Chair Discussed with Students the Earthquakes That Hit Turkey and Syria

The Chairman of SAI Israel, Matanyahu Englman, delivered lectures to schoolchildren on the topic of earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria.

The lecture was held in the office of the SAI Israel in Jerusalem. Mr. Englman reported on the dead and injured in a terrible disaster, and also said that the task of the SAI is to take care of the preparedness for such disasters in the country.

The schoolchildren were provided with information on the audit of the readiness of five local authorities for earthquakes, as well as on the verification of the actions of various ministries in preparing for earthquakes. The chairman said that during the audit, inspectors check the readiness of infrastructures for an earthquake, the availability and operability of emergency systems.
