SAI Marshall Islands Held an Auditor’s Conference for Pacific Region
An annual conference and a seminar of the Association of Public Auditors of the Pacific Islands (APIPA) was held in the SAI of the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
For the first time in the last three years, the event was held in person. The topic of the conference was interaction with the public.
The purpose of the conference is to provide auditors and accountants with training opportunities to improve their professional skills and realize their potential, which in turn increases the efficiency and productivity of the organization.
APIPA offers professional capacity development training to its members. The conference highlighted that a total of 2,190 course completion certificates were awarded to 406 participants of the organization.
The Association’s 2023 training courses this year were designed to take into account emerging issues and trends in the accounting, finance, management and audit sectors.
