SAI Moldova and SAI Latvia Exchanged Experience in the Field of State Budget Audit

The SAIs of Moldova and Latvia held a webinar to share best practices in the field of public budget audit.

The seminar was organized in the context of cooperation initiatives between the two institutions with the aim of building capacity, as well as promoting international best practices in relation to reporting on the state budget in accordance with international standards.

Representatives of institutions agreed to continue cooperation and exchange of experience to address the most important aspects related to the audit of the state budget in order to create a draft of the relevant document for auditors, which will include best practices and take into account national specifics.
