SAI Moldova Contributed to Investigative Journalism

SAI Moldova took part in an event dedicated to the presentation of investigative journalism in the video format.

The event was attended by investigative authors, journalists and media experts, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Public Procurement Agency, the National Anti-Corruption Center, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, and the Parliamentary Commission for Public Finance Control.

The authors of the investigations presented their summaries in video format and talked about the obstacles in the process of producing journalistic materials, their impact and subsequent reaction.

Audit reports of SAI Moldova formed the basis for a number of investigations and journalistic materials conducted by the media.

Representatives of state structures and authorities present at the event stressed the importance and significance of investigative journalism for anti-corruption agencies.
