SAI Moldova Participated in UN-Women Seminar

Representatives of SAI Moldova participated in a seminar organized by experts from is the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women (UN-Women) on gender-sensitive budgeting and best practices in this area.

The seminar was held within the framework of supporting the implementation of the Program for Promoting and Ensuring Equality between Women and Men for 2023-2027 and the Strategy for the Development of Public Finance Management for 2023-2030.

During the seminar, a presentation was made on the topic of public finance management from a gender perspective and the role of supreme audit institutions.

UN-Women experts and representatives of SAI Moldova discussed the integration of gender issues in the development of State programs and budget planning, as well as the important role that supreme audit institutions play in assessing gender equality.
