SAI Moldova Took Part in International Public Consultations on the Principles of Public Administration

The European Commission and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) organized an online session of international public consultations within the framework of the SIGMA* program to revise the draft document “Principles of Public Administration“.

SAI Moldova took part in this event along with other representatives of Supreme Audit Institutions, as well as institutions and international bodies related to public administration issues.

The Principles of Public Administration is a strategic document that is considered as one of the foundations in the context of compliance with the values and principles of EU legislation in the field of public administration.

The revised version of the document is built on 33 fundamental principles, which include clear requirements for the organization of public administration.

Participants in the public consultations welcomed the content of the revised document, noting its importance for national authorities in the context of EU compliance and rigor.
