SAI Montenegro Held a Round Table On Cooperation with Civil Society

In Sarajevo, a round table on cooperation with civil society in order to improve the effectiveness of the activities of the supreme audit institutions was held at the site of SAI Montenegro.

The event was organized by SAI Bosnia and Herzegovina with the participation of the Program to Support the Development of Public Administration in the Countries of Central and Eastern Europe (SIGMA).

The round table was attended by representatives of the SAIs of Albania, Kosovo, the Republic of North Macedonia, Moldova Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.

During the meeting, SIGMA presented a study on “Improving the quality of audit through interaction with stakeholders”, which examines practical examples of EUROSAI members regarding the development of communication with external stakeholders, including civil societies.

The need to organize annual meetings with civil society was also noted.
