SAI Morocco Hosts an International Symposium on the SAIs Independence

SAI Morocco hosted a symposium on the theme of the independence of Supreme Audit Institutions.

The event was organized by the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI), with the participation of 14 member countries of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), as well as parliamentarians and external experts.

The aim of the symposium is to highlight the importance of institutional coordination, particularly with the legislative branch, in monitoring the implementation of recommendations issued by Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs).

The aim is also to develop international cooperation and exchange experiences between SAIs and partners, with a view to strengthening their missions in promoting transparency, accountability and efficiency.
