SAIs of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Serbia Discuss Gender Equality

The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted a meeting of representatives of the supreme audit institutions of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and North Macedonia. 

The main purpose of this meeting was to discuss opportunities and approaches for preparing a parallel audit between SAIs in the region within the framework of the project “Transformative Financing of Gender Equality for Transparent, Inclusive and Responsible Governance in the Western Balkans”.

According to the relevant agreements concluded by the agencies with UN Women, the parallel audit will focus on the SDG 5 – Gender Equality.
