The US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC), the US Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have launched an updated version of the online learning platform “ASEAN Small and Medium Business Academy 2.0” (ASEAN SME Academy 2.0).
The ASEAN Small and Medium Business Academy 2.0 is a project created in partnership between the U.S. private sector, the U.S. government, and ASEAN to expand small business opportunities in Southeast Asia. The platform’s creators believe that the Academy will support thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises in Southeast Asia that are experiencing difficulties in recovering from the pandemic and adapting to the digital economy.
The main goal of the Academy is to provide a platform for developing digital skills for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
The course catalog includes new modules on graphics and design visualization, as well as training materials and courses on the recovery of SMEs after COVID-19. In addition, the Academy offers to study the possibility of entering self-certification and get practical business skills.
