XIII General Assembly of the Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries

The Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions of the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries convened its XIII General Assembly in Luanda, Angola under the theme “Climate Change and Its Impacts: Best Practices of SAIs Member States.”
Key items of the Assembly included:
- activity reports 2024–2025
- approval of the Audit Guidance
- revision of the financial rules
- designation of external auditors for 2025–2027
- selection of SAI Sao Tome and Principe as the host for the XIV General Assembly in 2027
- designation of SAI Angola as the host for the next technical seminar in 2026.
The Assembly concluded with the adoption of the Luanda Declaration, emphasizing the strategic role of SAIs in climate policies.
