Experience of SAI North Macedonia

The Head and the team of the State Audit Office of the Republic of North Macedonia speak on the 3rd provision of the Moscow Declaration “SAIs can enhance the value of public auditing by extending the provision of audit-based advice on important and strategic issues of parliament, government and public administration”.

The video covers the importance of the SAI’s independent external oversight of the achievement of nationally agreed objectives and the work of SAI; SAI’s experience on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and SDGs; the challenges that SAI faces and the opportunities it uses to meet them (promotion of the availability of data and openness of SAI, communication strategy, training programs, risk management, etc.).
