Experience of SAI Portugal

Mr. José Tavares, President of the Court of Accounts of the Portuguese Republic, speaks on the best practices used by the Court and about three projects that are widely used by the auditors – ModinPlan, an integrated model of planning, ModinAudit, an IT application to monitor the audit cycle, and E-contas, an IT application used for rendering accounts.

Mr. Tavares underlines the importance of learning and experimenting to enhance innovation and development of the audit.
