Mr. László Domokos, President of the State Audit Office of Hungary, speaks on the 1st provision of the Moscow Declaration “SAIs are encouraged to contribute to more effective, transparent and informative accountability for outcomes, keeping in mind the complexity of government efforts needed to support the achievement of national priorities and the SDGs”. The video covers SAI’s projects designed to promote accountability, facilitate the joint achievement of national and Sustainable Development Goals and to face the emerging challenges in the related areas. In 2016 SAI Hungary created the model of good governance which is aimed at ensuring high-quality legislation, increasing lawfulness, spreading integrity culture, promoting good practices, and improving the transparency of the use of public funds. Mr. László Domokos mentions the SAI’s achievements in the field of digitalization and automatization of the rapid processing of large volumes of data.
