SAIs need to understand what is supposed to be a response to these challenges, what are the advantages, drawbacks and opportunities that derive from the COVID-19 crisis. In the times of uncertainty risk-based approach and risk-management become very important instruments. SAIs are encouraged to identify and manage the systematic risks in addition to the operating risks that world has to focus, as well as they need to perform risk assessment to look at the problem wider and understand interlinkages that caused these risks.
